Emma and Michael where married on 15 September at St Nicholas Church in Lincoln. I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with some lovely vicars who have made me feel very welcome in their church, however, not on this occasion. Emma was a “massive” 15 minutes late, and as I approached the church I was met by a very unhappy and grumpy vicar and told under no circumstances was I to hold up proceedings by taking any more photographs. He even told Michael and Emma off for talking during the ceremony. After the ceremony Michael and Emma had a fantastic looking horse and carriage to take them to the cathedral where we got some lovely images even though we once again encountered a helpful and caring attitude by being kicked out of the cathedral for taking photos in the cloisters, very christian of them! Never mind we got some great looking shots so it was worth a telling off. Then it was off to The Bentley Hotel in Lincoln for the reception which certainly turned into a lively old evening as the night progressed, great fun, especially seeing Emma’s dad “own” the dance floor.
Thanks for having me along to photograph your day I had a great time.
